Import Mass data from Excel format to iSmartRecruit
Written by Shruti Patel
Sometimes, when we have an Excel sheet with the data of a candidate, client, lead, or employee, it will be very time-consuming to import those details into iSmartRercuit.
Hence, iSmartRercuit has a feature called Excel Import, which allows you to import all this data into an Excel sheet in one go.
An Admin user can go to their Admin module, click on the “Other” tab, and use this feature of “Master Data Excel Import”.
Navigation Link: https://app.ismartrecruit.com/admin
This will request you to choose which data you wish to import.
Select either Candidate, Clients, Leads, or Employees.
Now upload the Excel sheet here. Make sure the fields of the Excel sheet are perfectly matched with the fields of the Candidate Form in iSmartRecruit. Re-arrange them if they are not aligned, using the 'Select Excel Field' and 'Select Candidate Fields' buttons.
Also, choose the options as required to conduct a Duplicate Check and assign the candidates to a Talent Pool.
Simply click on Load Candidate and the data will get imported into the system.
Note: The duplicate check will only be conducted within the file uploaded. It will not check for duplicate profiles among the candidates of the file and the ones already added to the system.
Make sure that the fields of the Excel sheet are perfectly matched with the fields of the Client Form in iSmartRecruit. Re-arrange them if they are not aligned.
Also, choose the option as required to conduct a Duplicate Check. And click on Load Client and the data will get imported into the system.
In case the file contains the client contacts, you can choose the option to include the client contact fields while importing the data or remove it as per requirement.
Make sure that the fields of the Excel sheet are perfectly matched with the fields of the Lead Form in iSmartRecruit. Re-arrange them if they are not aligned.
Also, choose the option as required to conduct a Duplicate Check and click on Load Lead to import the data into the system.
Similar to Client Contacts, you can choose to add or remove Lead Contact fields while importing.
Make sure that the fields of the Excel sheet are perfectly matched with the fields of the Employees Form in iSmartRecruit. Re-arrange them if they are not aligned.
To check the employees form, please go through the three dots option on the left vertical bar and choose to open the Employees Module.
Click on the Add Employee button and check out the fields in the Employee form.
Simply click on Load Employee and the data will get imported into the system.
Note: The Excel import will only work if the data is all in one sheet and if there are no formulas.
